Carter Dean Wathen

Legal Studies (minor: History); Vice President, Pi Kappa Phi

BIO

My name is Carter Dean Wathen, and I am a student at the University of Mississippi, originally from Nashville, Tennessee. I am pursuing a degree in Legal Studies with a minor in History and have a strong interest in law, public service, and professional development. I currently work at Bart Durham Injury Law, where I am gaining hands-on experience in the legal field and strengthening my understanding of client service, communication, and the day-to-day operations of a law practice. I plan to attend law school within the next two years and am actively building the academic and professional foundation needed for that path. On campus, I serve as Vice President of my fraternity, Pi Kappa Phi, and am also a member of the Tennis Club and Pre-Law Club. I am interested in opportunities that foster leadership, collaboration, and student engagement. I value growth through involvement and am committed to contributing positively to the university community while continuing to develop my professional skills and legal interests.

WHY CLI?

I am excited to join the CLI Ambassadors because it would give me the opportunity to further strengthen my leadership skills while taking a more active role in the University of Mississippi community. I look forward to representing CLI, building meaningful connections with fellow students, and helping foster a more engaged and collaborative campus environment.
