WHY CLI?
As a scholar who has interests in Kantian and Confucian virtue theory, I am particularly attracted to virtues of humility, humaneness, and benevolence. These virtues clearly overlap with several of those listed on UM’s Creed, including dignity, integrity, and stewardship.
