Andrew Stapp is a higher education professional with extensive experience in academic administration, strategic operations, and student engagement. As Program Manager for the Department of Biomedical Engineering at the University of Mississippi, he oversees departmental operations, financial management, human resources, compliance, and faculty support while leading initiatives that enhance organizational effectiveness and student success. He has played a key role assisting the department’s first ABET accreditation, graduate program, Center for Diagnostics, Design, Devices and Biomechanics (D3B) and the creation of a comprehensive undergraduate mentoring program that fosters leadership, belonging, and academic achievement. Prior to his current role, Andrew served in the University’s Office of Admissions, where he guided prospective students and families through the enrollment process and coordinated personalized campus visit experiences. His background also includes leadership roles in local government and hospitality, providing a strong foundation in customer service, program administration, and team leadership. Andrew holds a Master of Arts in Higher Education from the University of Mississippi and is passionate about building collaborative partnerships, improving institutional processes, and creating meaningful experiences that support student, faculty, and organizational success.
