BIO

Katelin Hayward Traylor is the Program Manager for High School Programs at the Trent Lott Leadership Institute at the University of Mississippi, where she designs and leads immersive, experiential learning programs that inspire and prepare high school students from across Mississippi and the United States for leadership, civic engagement, and higher education. She earned a Master of Public Administration and a Graduate Certificate in Nonprofit Management from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock (UALR). As a graduate assistant for the federally funded Child Care Access Means Parents in School program, she managed the grant’s childcare funding, oversaw annual allocations, and worked directly with student parents to improve access to affordable childcare in Arkansas. Her dedication earned her UALR’s Outstanding Nonprofit Management Student of the Year award. Katelin received her Bachelor of Arts in Public Policy Leadership from the University of Mississippi, with minors in Education and Journalism. As an undergraduate, she served as Associated Student Body Secretary, represented students on the Chancellor’s Commission on the Status of Women and the Chancellor’s Lecture Series Committee, and was inducted into the University of Mississippi’s Hall of Fame. She is currently pursuing an Ed.D. in Higher Education at the University of Mississippi.
