Marilyn Lisa Coleman

Administrative Coordinator, Department of Mathematics; EDHE 105 Instructor

BIO

“I have worked at the University of Mississippi for over 17 years and currently serve as the Administrative Coordinator for the Department of Mathematics. I enjoy supporting our faculty, staff, and students while helping keep the department running smoothly. In addition to my administrative role, I teach EDHE 105, where I have the opportunity to help first-year students adjust to college and connect them with campus resources. I earned my master’s degree in criminal justice and am currently working toward a bachelor’s degree in psychology. I am also a certified Mental Health First Aider. Throughout my career, I have enjoyed serving others, building relationships across campus, and finding ways to help students and colleagues succeed. I believe that kindness, respect, and integrity make a difference in creating a positive campus community, and I strive to reflect those values in my work every day.”

WHY CLI?

“I am excited to serve as a CLI Steward because I enjoy building relationships and helping others. I look forward to learning from colleagues across campus while promoting a culture of integrity, respect, and ethical leadership.”
