BIO

“Seneca Crump serves as the Program Director for Ole Miss Opportunity and Flagship First-Generation Student Programs at the University of Mississippi, where he leads strategic initiatives that expand access, opportunity, and student success for first-generation and Mississippi students through cross-campus collaboration, leadership development, and holistic support. A native of Terry, Mississippi, Seneca earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Mississippi and his master’s degree in Student Affairs in Higher Education from Western Kentucky University. Throughout his career, he has worked across higher education and nonprofit organizations to advance student development, leadership education, belonging, community engagement, and workforce readiness. His professional experiences include leadership roles at Western Kentucky University, The Ohio State University, the Columbus Urban League, and public speaking and consulting with PhiredUp Productions, where he supports leadership development and organizational growth. Through every role, Seneca strives to create environments where people feel connected, challenged, and empowered to lead with purpose. He believes that meaningful relationships, character-centered leadership, and collaborative action are the foundation for lasting personal and organizational impact.”
