Martin Fisher is the Director of Campus Visit and Orientation Programs at the University of Mississippi. A proud Ole Miss graduate, he holds a bachelor’s degree in Public Policy Leadership as well as master’s and doctoral degrees in Higher Education. With nearly 20 years invested in the Ole Miss community, Martin brings deep institutional knowledge and a passion for student success to his work. After more than a decade in Admissions, Martin launched a new unit within Enrollment Management in 2023. His team plays a key role in the university’s enrollment efforts, hosting more than 30,000 campus visitors each academic year and leading new student orientation programs that welcome over 16,000 students and family members each summer. At the heart of his work is mentoring and leading 200+ student leaders who serve as Ole Miss Ambassadors and Orientation Leaders—shaping the first impression of the university for thousands each year.
