Patty Hays grew up in Cleveland, Mississippi. She earned both a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting and a Master of Professional Accountancy from Delta State University and is a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA). Patty built a successful career in financial management, accounting, and business operations before transitioning to higher education in 2019. She currently serves as the Business Manager for the College of Liberal Arts at the University of Mississippi, where she provides financial leadership and strategic guidance to the Dean, Associate Deans, academic departments, and staff on a wide range of financial and business matters. In her role, she oversees financial operations, supports budget planning and management, and works collaboratively across the College to ensure sound fiscal stewardship and operational effectiveness.
