Reneshia Sykes is an Accountant in the Financial Aid Office at the University of Mississippi, where she supports financial operations through analysis, reporting, and process improvement. Before joining Ole Miss, she spent three years in corporate healthcare finance and three years in corporate banking, where she developed a passion for using data to solve complex problems and support strategic decision-making. A Mississippi native and proud Ole Miss alumna, Reneshia earned her bachelor’s degree in Managerial Finance from the University of Mississippi and her Master of Business Administration from Belhaven University. She enjoys spending time with her son, traveling, volunteering in her community, and making memories with family and friends. After living in Dallas for several years, she also developed a love for Texas culture and proudly cheers for the Dallas Cowboys. Reneshia is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, where service, scholarship, and leadership continue to shape both her personal and professional life. Beyond her professional accomplishments, Reneshia is passionate about building meaningful relationships, serving her community, and embracing opportunities for personal growth. She believes that some of life’s greatest lessons come through service, resilience, and genuine connections with others, and she hopes to leave every person and place better than she found them.

I am excited to serve as a CLI Steward because I value opportunities to grow as a leader while learning from colleagues with diverse experiences across campus. I look forward to building meaningful connections and helping foster a culture of collaboration, integrity, and service at Ole Miss.
