Rob Dunnam
Success Coach, Center for Student Success & First-Year Experience
BIO
Robert Dunnam is a Success Coach with the Center for Student Success and First-Year Experience. He’s a native Mississippian who has worked in various capacities across higher education for almost twenty years. His position allows him to work with students across the university on academic challenges, setting goals, improving their college experience, and helping students achieve their desired objectives related to coursework and connection to the university. Robert serves as an instructor for EDHE 1005, Freshman Year Experience, and EDHE 1001, Academic Skills for College, and participated in the Global Compass Program for advisors in Fall 2025. He is currently working towards his Doctor of Education degree from Mississippi State University (but don’t hold that against him) and hopes to continue working with students for many years in the future. He enjoys reading, college football, traveling, and getting to know his students and how to best assist them.
