Jennifer Strunk Bland is the Digital Accessibility Coordinator at the University of Mississippi. In this role, she advances digital accessibility efforts across the university and works to ensure compliance with federal regulations through strategic initiatives, training, and program and process development. Jennifer has over 20 years of experience working in technology-focused roles in K12 and higher education, with almost half of those years focused on ensuring access in digital spaces for those with disabilities. She is passionate about digital inclusion and accessibility and greatly enjoys training and collaborating with others to ensure digital content is usable by everyone. This is Jennifer’s second stint at the University of Mississippi, having served as an Accessibility Specialist for three years from 2019 to 2022. Prior to returning for her current role, she worked as an accessibility consultant for other higher education institutions and state government entities. She has a bachelor’s degree in communications from Mississippi State University and a master’s degree in higher education from the University of Mississippi.
