BIO
My career began in trade school, and I spent many years as a commercial HVAC service technician. I have applied my education and experience in my career to progress into Operations Manager and Project Management opportunities, and I have 35 years of experience in sales, operations and administration roles in HVAC, plumbing, building automation and energy management in commercial, industrial and higher education industries. I am currently responsible for all energy management, air conditioning, distributed chill water systems, boiler systems, refrigeration and indoor air quality in all academic and research facilities at the University of Mississippi. My responsibilities also include operating a natural gas distribution system across the campus and working closely with new construction and renovation as well as supporting a current energy performance contract the university has in place currently. I have a certification from the Association of Energy Engineers as a Certified Energy Manager, and I am a member of the Mississippi Energy Coordinators Association and ASHRAE.
WHY CLI?
I am deeply honored and genuinely excited to have been selected to take part in the CLI Steward program! I have been fortunate enough to have always loved my profession and to work at a university that I have been a fan of my entire life is especially sweet, and I look forward to the opportunity to continue to grow and collaborate with my peers in this program. I will be ready to get started on August 11th!
