BIO
Elizabeth Tettleton Mason, MBA, is Manager of Events and Special Projects in the Office for Research & Economic Development at the University of Mississippi, where she leads strategic initiatives, research development programs, institutional events, and assessment efforts that support faculty, staff, students, and the university’s research enterprise. She also serves as an adjunct instructor, designing experiential learning opportunities that connect students with clients to solve real-world challenges. Elizabeth is passionate about organizational growth, evidence-informed decision-making, and creating environments where every invited voice is met with genuine curiosity, respect, and a desire to understand. Her interests include character-centered leadership, governance, policy development, assessment and continuous improvement, and the role of thoughtful deliberation in strengthening institutions and building trust across diverse communities. As a CLI Steward, she looks forward to learning alongside colleagues from across the university while exploring how character can shape more thoughtful leadership, more meaningful dialogue, and stronger organizations.
